CHANGELOG

PaletteDesk launched with a color converter and contrast checker

PaletteDesk went live as a browser-based color palette generator built for designers and developers who need color systems that actually hold up in a real interface, not just a swatch grid.

The first release shipped with the full toolkit needed to take a palette from idea to production: an HSL-based generator with a light/dark mode toggle, and a HEX / RGB / HSL converter for translating individual colors between formats.

A WCAG contrast checker launched alongside it, so pairing text and background colors doesn't mean guessing at accessibility - every combination shows its contrast ratio and pass/fail result against AA and AAA thresholds.

Every palette state lives in the URL by design: no account, no save button, just a link that reproduces the exact colors, mode, and settings for anyone who opens it.
