How to read the result
The contrast ratio is a number from 1 to 21: the higher it is, the bigger the difference between text and background. WCAG sets minimum thresholds separately for regular and large text, and separately for the AA and AAA levels. If a pair fails AA, click “Fix” and the text color shifts in lightness to the nearest passing value, without changing its hue.
