CHANGELOG

New style template: Memphis

Memphis

The style gallery grew by one: Memphis, built around the Milan-based Memphis Group's maximalist rejection of "good taste" - thick black outlines, confetti-like shapes, a hand-drawn squiggle underline, and clashing color blocks laid over cream paper instead of a neutral background.

It sits closest to Y2K and Bento Box in spirit - loud, layered, unafraid of clutter - but leans fully into hand-made irregularity rather than digital gloss or a tidy grid, which makes it a useful counterpoint to Bauhaus's strict three-shape discipline on the opposite end of the geometric spectrum. Oversized Typography shares its confidence but not its clutter.

  • New Memphis style template: thick black outlines, confetti shapes, and a hand-drawn squiggle underline over clashing color blocks
  • Cream paper background instead of a neutral white or dark canvas, true to the original 1981 Memphis Group palette logic
  • Same live-preview, contrast-checking, and export tools as every other style template
